Nestled on the doorstep of the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park, Bluebell Cottage is perfectly placed for unforgettable stargazing. Spanning 572 square miles, the park is one of Europe's largest Gold-Tier protected dark sky areas, where visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the Milky Way and, on clear nights with favourable conditions, may even witness the magical Aurora. At the heart of the home is a modern L-shaped open-plan living space, designed for both comfort and sociable living. It features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and two inviting seating spaces, all positioned to take in the stunning countryside views through large windows that fill the space with natural light. On the ground floor, there is a flexible bedroom with two single beds, which can be arranged as a king-size bed upon request at the time of booking. A convenient downstairs bathroom adds extra ease for guests. Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom offers a king-size bed, a stylish ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bath, and glass doors showcasing spectacular rural views. The second bedroom also includes a king-size bed, while the third bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed. Each bedroom is furnished with comfortable linens and ample storage space. Two modern family-bathrooms complete the first floor. Outside, guests can enjoy a private patio area with Hot Tub and a large enclosed garden, ideal for outdoor dining, relaxing in the fresh air, or safe play for children. Next door to Thistle Cottage, Rochester, that can also be booked through Host and Stay increasing the number of Guests to 16. Guest Access Guests will receive access details on the day of checking in to the property. Private parking is available on the driveway to the property. Please note that 2 x small dogs are allowed at the property (i.e. cockapoo size) or 1 x medium dog. Interaction with Guests We are always available to help so please don't hesitate to reach out. The Neighborhood Rochester is a small, picturesque village located on the historic route of Dere Street, the Roman road that once connected York with Scotland. Within a thirty minute drive from the property, guests may like to travel to the towns of Rothbury, Crageside, Jedburgh (Scotland) and Kielder Forest.
