DINING AREA AND KITCHEN The dining area can be found in the kitchen. Fully equipped, it has everything you could need to make the most of your self-catering staycation in County Durham. BEDROOM AND BATHROOM Head upstairs and you’ll find two bedrooms. Ideal for families, both bedrooms have double beds. Both beds have comfy mattresses and plush bedding to ensure you have the best sleep possible. Both bedrooms also have en-suites. Modern and clean, both en-suites have showers, wash basins, and WC’s. There is free on site parking for two vehicles on the driveway. Access to the parking area is quite narrow. Please be aware of this and take care when parking. Guest Access Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. There is free on site parking for two vehicles in the communal parking area- this is on a first come first served basis. Additional parking is available on streets close by. Access to the parking area is quite narrow. Please be aware of this and take care when parking. Please note that the TV does not have access to terrestrial channels, however streaming services are available. Interaction with Guests We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Neighborhood 82G Galgate is located in the historic market town of Barnard Castle. Featured within the Guardian’s ‘10 of the UK’s best small towns’, there is something for everyone here. If you love to shop, the town has many antique shops so treasure seekers will be in their element. There are also lots of independent stores which you wouldn’t see on the average high street. Take your pick of restaurants, cafes and pubs which serve lovely home-made food. Barnard Castle is also known for its 12th century castle. The English Heritage property has great views over the Tees Gorge. You can try to spot Richard III’s boar emblem carved above the window in the inner ward or explore the sensory garden.
