The Space Upon entering the apartment, you’ll be welcomed into a bright and stylish space. With solid flooring throughout, The Normanby is a breath of fresh air. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is spacious and light. Kick back and relax after a long day of exploring the coast. Switch on the flat screen TV to catch up on your favourite shows or take some time out with a good book. In front of the huge bay window, you’ll find the dining area. The light wood dining table and chairs fit the minimalist style of the apartment. Enjoy breakfasts after lazy mornings and delicious evening meals with your loved one. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. With an oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine – you’ll have everything you need for your stay. You can even make yourself a fresh coffee to start your day! The bedroom is a tranquil haven with a comfy king-size bed and stylish furnishings. Pops of dusky pink work perfectly in the room and the feather-like ceiling light is an elegant addition. The room is complete with a dressing table and mirror. Also sharing the same building is Silver Beach and together the apartments can sleep up to four guests. Please get in touch with our friendly team with preferred dates to enquire about booking both apartments together. Outside you’ll find an enclosed patio area with four wooden seats. This is shared with guests staying in Silver Beach. Guest Access Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. We provide a parking scratch card for your stay which gives you free parking in the W zones Interaction with Guests We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Neighborhood Set on the West side of Whitby, The Normanby is just a short walk from the central Flowergate. Find cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants on Pier Road. Venture along the lively road and you’ll reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll find the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk. On the opposite side of the bridge is the East bank. This side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary.
