Located just over the road from Whitby’s West Cliff beach, this aptly named apartment is perfect for those looking for a retreat by the beach. Sleeping four guests, the apartment is perfect for couples and small families, you’ll be ideally placed to enjoy the many attractions and eateries throughout Whitby. The Space Sandcastles Apartment is a well designed, second floor apartment with everything you could need for a self-catering staycation in Whitby. Ultra stylish and modern, it features an open plan kitchen, living and dining area where you can relax and get lost in the peaceful surroundings. In the living room is a sofa bed which is deemed suitable for one adult or two children. The bright and spacious bedroom features a double bed with feature wicker headboard. Dressed with premium linen you are guaranteed a restful nights' sleep. A sofa bed is available in the living room for added comfort. Featuring a walk in shower, the bathroom at Sandcastles Apartment is modern and stylish. A WC and basin complete the space. Guest Access Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the apartment are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. There are a number of pay and display car parks throughout Whitby and full details will be sent to you prior to your arrival. Due to the size of the property we do not recommend this apartment for families. Interaction with Guests We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Neighborhood Sandcastles Apartment is located on the West Cliff on Royal Crescent so you’ll be right on the doorstep of the Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade which is just a short stroll from the apartment. On Pier Road, you’ll find fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants where you can sample the catch of the day. The other side of Whitby is full of narrow, mediaeval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland.
