The Space The Lobster Pot is quirky and cosy. With a traditional seaside cottage style, the shepherd’s hut is homely and snug. Make the most of your self-catering stay in Saltburn by preparing light bites in the kitchen or making the most of the barbeque facilities provided. Once done, enjoy meals outside alfresco style in the warmer months. When it’s colder, pull up some chairs to the inside dining area and enjoy the heat from the log burner. Boasting a comfy double bed and premium bed linens, you’ll have a blissful night’s sleep here. Traditional in style, the bathroom is a compact space featuring a shower, wash basin and WC. Outside The Lobster Pot, there is seating for two people - perfect for enjoying the fresh coastal air. If you are looking for a unique and peaceful stay by the sea, The Lobster Pot is your perfect match. Guest Access Guests have access to the full shepherd’s hut. The keys to The Lobster Pot are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check in. Private on-site parking is available. There is an enclosed gravelled area for guests to sit out during summer evenings and use the provided facilities, including a BBQ and portable fire pit. The Neighborhood The Lobster Pot is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast. The Cleveland Way National Trail is on the doorstep of the Lobster Pot. It is is over 100 miles long and the lovely Saltburn is featured. Enjoy an exhilarating walk along the cliffs to discover a secluded beach at Skinningrove (2 miles) or continue on for longer walks along the well-marked National Trail. Located just a short distance from the heart of the town, the shepherd's hut is only a short walk from the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you fancy a 17.5-mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend.
