From the moment you step inside, exposed beams, stone features and inviting interiors set the tone for a relaxing stay surrounded by the beauty of Swaledale. The spacious living room is the heart of the home, offering a cosy place to gather after days spent discovering the Dales. Sink into the comfortable seating, enjoy a film on the Smart TV, or simply relax together and plan the next day’s adventure through the surrounding countryside. Just beyond, the large dining area creates the perfect setting for shared meals and long conversations. With space for everyone to sit together, it’s ideal for family dinners, celebratory evenings or relaxed breakfasts before heading out to enjoy nearby walking and cycling routes, market towns and picturesque villages. The modern kitchen is a welcoming space where everyone can come together, whether preparing breakfast before a day outdoors or enjoying relaxed evening meals after returning from the hills. A practical utility room sits just off the main living areas, providing space for coats, walking boots and outdoor gear after a day in the countryside. You’ll also find a washing machine and useful storage to help keep everything organised during your stay. Upstairs, the bedrooms continue the cottage’s calm and inviting feel, each thoughtfully prepared to offer a peaceful night’s sleep after a day outdoors. → Bedroom 1: 1 x double bed with Smart TV, ensuite shower room and chest of drawers. → Bedroom 2: 1 x superking bed with wardrobe, chair and chest of drawers. → Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds with chest of drawers. → Living room: 1 x double sofa bed. The main bathroom features a bath, separate shower, sink and toilet, providing everything needed to refresh and recharge before another day in the Yorkshire Dales. Outside, the front garden offers a peaceful place to sit with a picnic bench and views across the Swaledale valley. To the rear, open countryside stretches beyond the cottage where grazing sheep often pass by.

ALL OUR PROPERTIES ARE STRICTLY NO SMOKING OR VAPING. If there is evidence of smoking following your stay, there will be a £300.00 deduction from your security deposit. ALL OUR PROPERTIES ARE STRICTLY NON-PARTY VENUES. If there are any noise complaints received between 21:00 and 06:00 from neighbors and other guests, there will be a minimum £100.00 charge and guests may be asked to leave the property. ALL OUR PROPERTIES ARE TO BE RESPECTED. If there is any damage, excess mess or usage, the cost of putting this right will be chargeable and you will be notified by email. We expect the property to be returned in the same condition as provided to you. Any illegal activity at the property will cause immediate termination of your stay without refund and we reserve the right to retain any damage deposit.
