The perfect getaway for two, and welcoming two small dogs, The Pepper Pot provides a fantastic base when staying in Northumberland. You can head to the fishing village of Boulmer for a day by the sea or explore the streets of Alnwick. The Space The Pepper Pot has a bright and welcoming open plan kitchen, living and dining area. With a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, there is a rustic, county cottage feel to an otherwise polished space. Ideal for two, the living area includes a comfortable sofa and a flat screen TV. The cosy kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals including an oven, hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and refrigerator. Enjoy your meals with your loved one at the dining area which includes a wooden table, bench and chair. Double doors open out into a patio space with outdoor seating where you can eat alfresco style if you’d prefer. Head to the bedroom and you’ll notice the same stunning style flow to this space. The king size, sleigh bed features plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have the best sleep possible. Modern and clean, the bathroom has a large walk in shower, WC and basin. Guest Access Guests have access to the full property. The keys to The Pepper Pot are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.# There is free, on site parking for one vehicle. The Pepper Pot welcomes two small, well behaved dogs per stay. Please note that children/ infants/babies are not allowed. The property is not suitable due to furnishings and the build of the property. Interaction with Guests We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Neighborhood The Pepper Pot is located in the small village of Denwick just 3.9 miles from the fishing village of Boulmer. Alnwick is a short 5-minute drive away. With cobbled streets lined with independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, the market town of Alnwick has charisma and personality in abundance. If you’re a keen reader, head to the old railway station and you’ll find one of the UK’s largest second hand bookshops. As night falls, venture to one of the lively inns to enjoy live music. Alnwick also has some of the country’s top attractions including Alnwick Castle, which was the location for the famous Harry Potter film franchise. Discover a realm of adventure by taking on the Dragon Quest or complete broomstick training in the very spot where Harry Potter had his first flying lesson. Head to the Artisan Courtyard to have fun dressing up in medieval costumes and get a feel for 14th century life. You can also explore The Alnwick Garden where you’ll find 12 acres of magnificent gardens and the world’s largest treehouse restaurant.
