There’s something special about staying in Durham and having the city on your doorstep. Riverview Apartment is just off Silver Street, tucked into a riverside setting where you can leave the car behind and spend your time getting around on foot. The apartment sleeps four across two bedrooms and has two bathrooms, giving everyone a bit of their own space. There’s a separate lounge and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Step outside and you’re only a couple of minutes from Durham Market Place, with the Cathedral, Castle, independent shops, cafés, restaurants and bars all close by. It’s a straightforward choice if you want to stay central and make the most of Durham without having to drive everywhere. The Space The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate lounge and dining area. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and ensuite shower room, while the second bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms have their own flat-screen TV and storage. The lounge has two sofas, a Freeview TV and Blu-ray DVD player, while the dining area gives you somewhere to sit down and eat. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and fridge-freezer. The main bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. Guest Access The apartment is on the second floor and can be reached by lift. There is a secure communal entrance to the building, and guests have their own allocated parking space within the gated car park. Check-in is usually from 3pm and check-out is by 10am. Your check-in information will be sent before arrival, so please have a look through it before you travel as your timings may be different. Fresh linen and clean towels are provided for every stay. Interaction with Guests You’ll have the apartment to yourself. Our team is available before and during your stay if you need anything, from a question about your arrival to help with the apartment while you’re here. We also have an out of hours emergency number is you should need it. The Neighborhood You’re surrounded by some of Durham’s best-known streets and landmarks here. Silver Street is just around the corner, while the Market Place is roughly two minutes away. From there, Durham Cathedral and Castle are easy to reach, as is the Gala Theatre. If food and drink are more your thing, you won’t have to go far either. Silver Street and Elvet Bridge are packed with places to stop for coffee, dinner or a drink, including Faru, Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana and Tin Of Sardines Gin Bar - Durham. The River Wear and Riverside Walk are also close by, giving you an easy way to get out of the busy city centre for a walk. Durham Train Station is less than half a mile away, and the bus station is also within walking distance. For those driving, the A1(M) provides easy access in and out of Durham. Other Things to Note One allocated parking space is available in the secure gated car park. Linen and towels are provided. Pets are not permitted. Long-term stays are available on request.
