KITCHEN / DINING ROOM The living area enjoys natural light overlooking the buzz of North Laine below, while the fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine, gas hob, kettle, plus plenty of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery if you want to prepare something during your stay. In addition to this, we offer complimentary tea and coffee, salt and pepper - so please help yourself. The dining table seats up to 4 guests. The living room has a Smart TV and a double sofa bed, giving you a comfortable space to relax between exploring Brighton, getting ready for a night out, and winding down at the end of the day. The sofa beds are not made up as beds, allowing you to make the most of the living space during your stay. If you prefer, you can simply relax and watch a movie on the TV by streaming your favourite show through Netflix or Prime (Just log in with your own account). BATHROOM The bathroom has a shower, sink, mirror, and toilet. We provide plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and bath mats. BEDROOM Bedroom 1 has a standard double bed and sleeps 2 Two sofa beds in the lounge, not yet made up as a bed, so you can enjoy the space - linen is provided Plenty of fresh bed linen is provided for all beds Please note: Due to the central location above busy Sydney Street, guests should expect noise from the surrounding cafés, live music and nightlife. This is part of the authentic North Laine experience and is an important consideration if you are looking for a particularly quiet stay. About the Area: North Laine is Brighton’s vibrant, bohemian neighbourhood, home to hundreds of independent shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. It is known for vintage clothing, antiques, street art, independent businesses, and an eclectic food scene. Brighton Station is just minutes away on foot, making arrivals easy and London day trips simple. The seafront, The Lanes, Royal Pavilion, and Brighton Pier are also within walking distance. We want you to have the best possible experience with My Getaways. Here’s a friendly Guest Guide to help your stay run smoothly Our Guest Promise We want you to arrive at a spotless home. If anything has been missed with the cleaning, please let us know straight away, and we will put it right as a priority. If we are unable to resolve it on the same business day, we will offer to move you to another property or refund you for the affected time! Check-In We’ll send your check-in instructions via email and SMS at 3 pm on your arrival day for check-in from 4 pm, once your damage deposit/waiver has been paid. Damage Deposit We work closely with our property owners to protect their homes and take damage deposits for all bookings. The day before check-in (or on the same day, if applicable), you’ll receive a 3D Secure link to select your preferred damage deposit option. The full deposit is simply pre-authorised on your card and released within 7 days of check-out if no breakages or damages are reported. Guests who prefer not to do a fully refundable damage deposit have the option of a one-off non-refundable damage waiver at a much lower cost. Smoking To keep our properties fresh and clean for all guests, smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area, if available. Noise To help keep things peaceful for our neighbours, we kindly ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. We want you to have a great time. A little consideration goes a long way to making sure everyone can enjoy their evenings (and get a good night’s sleep!) Not all properties can host hen, stag, or similar group celebrations. If you’re planning one, just drop us a message, and we’ll happily guide you to a property that can accommodate your group. Please note that call-outs due to excessive noise or parties may incur a fee. Pets This property is not pet-friendly. Check-Out Check-out is by 11 am. Unauthorised late departures may incur a £50 per hour fee. Before You Leave and as a consideration to future guests, please: Wash up the used dishes. Bag rubbish and use the correct recycling bins. Return keys to the key safe (OR) Keynest location. Switch off the lights. Close all windows. Turn down the heating. These steps help us prepare for the next guests and save energy; every little bit counts. Age Policy The lead guest must be 21 or over. We cannot accept bookings where the majority of guests are under this age. If unsure, please contact us before booking please. A Quick Note on Deposits and Property Care If any of the above guidelines aren’t followed, we may need to make deductions from your deposit to cover additional cleaning or damages.
